Geez, I got my tax return in the first week of Feburay. I've been itching to spend it on something. A PCP airgun, dynojet, an AR-15, or maybe a 351 kit. But for now, its just sitting in the bank account collecting interest.

learjet - I have all of those (except PCP air gun - but have regular air rifles) and the 351 kit brings me the most joy by far In fact since I got my KLX, all of my other hobbies have been on the back burner!!!

Those were just some of the ideas that I had. Then theres college, replacing my chairmat, fixing the oil leak on the Ranger, clearing the property of trees, and pay off the property.

At least I can spend the tax return on something that I want besides bills. Well, besides the property. But that is my 2010 goal, to have that land paid off.

Last year I way over paid my quarterlies, and got back a F800GS and some change.
I thought I nailed 2009 +/-$1K, but I owe $5k... Those bankers and GM are expensive.

It is way more fun in March/April to realize you overpaid the last 12 months instead of under paid - that's for sure

Anybody wanna buy a drum.. or a GM automobile... Ha!

I miss getting refunds! Here in Guam if you are due a refund it will come to you 2-3 years later. So I just set my tax payments up so I will owe something every year. It sucks to have to pay but its better than loaning money to the fiscaly irresponsable buffoons that run this island.

OK Off the soap box.
Cheers Jim

Ya know Deej, I have made it no secret that since I have been unemployed last March that I have been gratefull for all of gods blessings that have been given.

If the blessing he gives you is to be debt free, I say that is a pretty good blessing these days!

i had planned on paying my truck off in full. Instead I had to buy some shocks for it, blew both the front ones out last weekend plowing some seriously heavy snow.... I paid about 2/3rds or my truck off and I still have some left in the bank that I am not sure what I am going to do with it.

I thought I was going to have to pay because I cashed in my 401k last year. i suppose I should do the right thing and tithe some of it to the church.

God Bless each and every one of it.

i love this verse. it gives me solace.

Mathew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own
