Default Tax time = New exhaust

First off let me start by saying that noise is not an issue for me. Im going for performance here.
heres my options so far.
-Full muzzy system
-Full Big gun system
-FMF powerpomb with the power core 4 klx 300 rear can

Im really leaning towards the FMF system since they are made in the USA and I have had nothing but good experience with them. They all cost around the same. Wondering if any of you guys had any experience so far with the FMF and a power core 4....not the Q4.

I have the FMF Powerbomb with the Q4, and if I my KLX had to be replaced (for whatever reason) I'd do this setup again.
I have the Power core 4 / Megabomb on my KX250F and it's pretty loud, if the PC-4 is anywhere near this loud on the KLX it wouldn't be a good choice for the street.
And I don't think that the low compression KLX engine will benefit much from the extra flow.

Wow, it's bad when an exhaust thread gets hijacked into something else. Usually it's the other way around.

I liked the Muzzy on my bike, but any of those should work well. That FMF header looks very cool, though. It definitely wins when bling points are factored in. Several folks here have an FMF, hopefully you'll get some more first hand feedback.

personally i like fmf's the most, e****ally on 2strokes. as far as the powerbomb goes.... all i can say is LOUD! by bud tyler had one on his crf450x and man.... i can hear him form across town and i remember looking at them for my xr, i didnt compare it to any of the one's youre thinking about buying but i do remember it blowing it away all the otheres on the chart. i think it was against a yoshimura and a whitebrothers, it increases air flow and decreases back pressure for quite a bit more horses.

My only concern with the powerbomb header is no heat shield. I currently don't have a heatshield on my muzzy and am burning holes in pants and boots. That buldge on the fmf seems like it would stick out further and make things worse. I can easily put a heat shield on the muzzy header but the fmf looks like it might be a problem. Other than that the fmf looks like a great system and would have probably gotten one instead of the muzzy if they had been out at the time. It seems like a lot of peoples exhaust decisions have been made on availabilty of the pipe. Most didn't want to wait a couple months for a pipe so they got the one that was available at the time.

Anyone have a picture of the powerbomb installed on a 250?
