How do you think that your bike is jetted over the range of throttle positions? Looking at the plug is a good indicator as well as its performance at different throttle positions.

After jetting three different carbs several times with different setups. I have concluded that our bike "likes" things on the rich side.

 

i think its just a little rich on the upper end of the rpms, 128 main, but probably right on in the low rpms... runs good.

 

Mine is definately on the rich side. It's the only way I could get rid of the "surging" at high rpm.

 

mines gotta be on the rich side..132 main, stock pilot, modified airbox lid, drilled baffles on stock exhaust, but it seems to run so nice, no popping on deceleration and no flat spots on accleration..could it be perfect? I haven't done a proper plug read, but did take the plug out a week or so after jetting and it looked pretty much the same as the oe plug that was in it when I first bought the bike.

 

oh yeah and 2.5 turns out on the FS..sea level.

 

It's richer than I am!
