Default How's my spark plug look?

I'm closing in on 7000 miles which means the first big round of maintenance will be occurring soon. Pulled the spark plug, how does it look? Looks a bit rich to me? I have my TwinAir filter on the way, hopefully that will help some.

Used. Haha.

Might wana blow some of that sand away from the plug hole before you remove the plug next time. Pistons + sand = bad.

Put the Twin Air on and leave the lid off. Listen to the roar.

I would definately clean it with gas and a wire brush before putting it back. Make sure to re-gap it as well.

I am also going to use this as a question. What plug is everyone running?

I'm just gonna go ahead and replace it. Book says to replace it after 7500, and spark plugs are cheap enough. Gonna wait till that TwinAir gets here Friday, though. Hopefully all the odds and ends for my new bars will make it in on time for the weekend

NGK Iridium CR8EIX is what I use and have been for the best 3k miles.

That was the first thing I noticed. You really want that area clean before working on it, all that crud that collects down around the plug will fall in the cylinder when you take the plug out, or bump around finding the hole with the new plug.
