How often for oil change?
#11
I change every other but I belive I am changing the oil at least twice as often as Kawasaki recomendations. So filter is getting changed at OK frequency. Forgot to add I use Shell Synthetic I think its Helix Ultra. I use it becuase I have an acct with shell and I can order it by the case at $5 per quart. Use the same thing in two KLX, a F150 and F250 so by the case works out fine. If you just buying for the KLX a case will last you years.

I believe in my owners manual for my 07 KLX it said something like 750, or 7500 miles per change after break in ... my bike doesn't even have 750 miles on it yet.

Oil changes @ 200 600 1200 2000 and every 1000 after that.
Mineral oil for first two changes and synthetic after that
Filter on first 3 chagnes and every other change after that. Filters are mix of OEM and other. Will probably go stainless soon just to save the hassle of shipping filters into Guam.
Just my opinion and schedule. Take a look at everyone elses and then make your own.

That sounds perfect, except the first one needs to be changed out at 40.
