I just made the switch to Amsoil 10W40 synthetic and was curious how often I should change the oil and filter? I was changing the oil and filter every 1000kms, but am hoping that by using the Amsoil, I may be able to let it go a little longer...(it's pricy stuff)...any thoughts are welcome....note I don't tend to ride a lot of technical stuff, mostly roads and a few ATV trails here and there. For the record I have 6000kms on the bike at this point.
