Default How often do I open fork air bleeds

I'd like to know how often to open the bronze screws on top of my forks, also do the forks need to be compressed or do I just simply loosen the screws. Someday I may run out of stupid questions, though I highly doubt it

lift the front wheel off the ground, and do em before your (gnarly offroad) ride.

I've got some quick bleeders. I can feel the difference after some whooped out terrain. Hot weather and the pressure builds quite quick.

Westoz - were the holes there when the bike was stock or did you have to drill and tap them?

I cant find anything similar on the 09 model.

cheers

07 and earlier get holes with bleed screw, 09 gets nutin'. if you want it get drillin' or get some 07 fork caps.
