Haha,,, Yeah +1 to that as well.. But what about just gettin a 450r and plate it,, hmmmm hmmm,, I dunno.. I was lookin at the shop at one when I bought my KLX, I guess I didnt want to go through the hassel of plating and regeistring the thing haha im lazy,, but i love my klx but if they do ever make a bigger bore DS from Kawi, Then Im all over it

Valve checks...maintenance schedules...they would be MUCH more frequent right?

not exactly. Look at this months dirtrider. they just finished their long term klx450r test. It's a pretty good article.

I read that, sounds like they thrashed it pretty good.

But my question is about the photo of those "long haul" bikes. Do they just end up with a box of parts at the end? I know I couldn't put that thing back together.

lessee...350 kit...33 pumper flatslide...ported and polished...300 header, slip-on HMF...KDX200 snorkle...

I think I know how to find some power in the near future...

more like a 36mm pumper, big gun exhaust (full system) and either take the airbox lid all the way off with a K&N filter, 300R airbox, OR just take the whole airbox off all together and use a clamp on K&N right on the back of the carb.

We can buy the klx450r registered from the dealer exactly like the klx250, looks like thats not the same in the states.
