This was only 10 years ago! As disturbing as it must be for a boy to see his grandmother naked, it's whole 'nuther level of creepy when an adult man sees his grandmother naked.

I think we all just shared a collective shiver in your honor, deej.

Nice mod, markturbo. I did something similar but went above the fender and used the little license plate bracket from the stock fender extension. I still need to figure something out for a light, though. I like they way you can tuck a light up under the fender - good job!

Thanks Nobrakes, I was going to copy your idea before I did mine but I wanted a spot to mount a plate light so I came up with what I have. By the way, the Muzzy looks awesome, mine should be in this week I hope!

Brian, do you know if we need a light for our plate in NC?

Yep, we sure do. I found a document on-line that had the inspection procedures for a motorcycle in NC and it definitely said that inspection would fail if the license plate did not have a light and if it was any color other than white. I see if I can dig up that document again and send you a link. Lots of good stuff in there that I was wondering about. Just FYI, blinkers are NOT required, but I like them anyway from my own personal safety standpoint. From my reading of the doc, there is no emissions test for motorcycles and I don't see anything requiring the gas tank to be metal which I was concerned about also because I have the larger capacity IMS gas tank which is plastic.
