That's what I thought. I have a 2006 GMC Canyon crew cab 4wd, only has a five foot bed unless you count the tailgate, plus the front wall is thin and I could see denting it loading the bike. So the carrier was a great idea. will work for dropping the bike off for it's first oil change--546 miles!
