Default KLX on a trailer hitch rack?

I've been trying to figure out if the 09 KLX would be too heavy to load on one of those trailer hitch motorcycle racks. I have an 05 Jeep Liberty and not sure if it would be able to to bear the weight safely. I have no room for a trailer so would really like to get a rack. Has anyone done this with their bike? Any recommendations?

That home built one looks nice but I definitely don't have the skills to make one. The ultimate mx hauler looks good. How big is your vehicle? Have any problems with the bike on the rack going over bumps or long distances?

That one hooks over the foot pegs, it works pretty good an you can use it as a bike stand also. Iwanted it but had the steel so I made my own.

I've had an "Add-a-Bike" carrier for about a year and a half now. It only weighs 35lbs and tie down straps are not required. Literally takes 10 seconds to load the bike. An aquaitance of mine makes um here is S. Florida.

Check out his video...lol...what a goofball.

Oh and I use it on my Ford Explorer...so your jeep should be no problem.

I got this off of e-bay for $140.00 shipped and I am very happy with it. Just make sure Your hitch weight is rated at 300 lbs or better...

I'd be careful with the Liberty. My brother hasa libertyand he loads up a rear cargo rack with rubbermaid tubs with clothes etc when he travels. With all the gear on the back, andthe family loaded upthat Jeep is really squatting in the rear. It just looks like the front end wants to come up off the ground. The combination of the short wheelbase Liberty, andputting that much weight hanging off the backcould be dangerous. A small trailer would be safer.
