I like to see all these high mile KLX's. Gives me a good feeling. Im only at 3500 miles. Come this spring tho it will be my main transportation till the end of fall.

 

I think I have any were from 35000 to 40000 on mine it is a 06. It started to somke last year I am going to do the 300 kit on it this winter if I can find a job

 

My KLX250 has 52,683 would you know what the highest mileage is for those kind of bike I am really curious and can’t find much on internet

 

I just hit 21k miles on my 351 with no issues

I have a 2012 250s but at around 12,000 I put a 300 jug on it. The majority of these miles came from me being without a car after my mustang was stolen. I rode the bike for a year and a half as my sole means of transportation. Hot or cold, rain or shine. It is definitely an experience that will teach you a few things. My bike has been excellent through it all. I put a couple sets of tires on it during that time. Now she is mainly my “old man” dirt road and trail bike. I have to say that my KLX has by far been the most reliable bike I have ever owned……and I have owned Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha……but all back from my racing days. So may not be quite a fair comparison. I do love the bike though. It had 540 mile on it when I bought it in 2018

Bought it new. First 3 periodic maintenance done at the dealer /covert guarantee.
Never got any problem....Usual maintenance ...so far 7 headlights, 3 set of tires (including the originals)
second set of brakes now. A lots of oil change...
Very satisfied and glad with this bike...mostly doing paved roads and city rides....
I kept it stock...modification to come....

 

now 128,748 km.....still running like new. Valve clearances still in spec, they've never required any adjustment since new.
