Does anybody know if there is enough cable lenth to install the Pro Taper high bends on a 09 klx250s?
Maybe I should have asked before I ordered them...

a lot of people swear that they have plenty of cable i think they are all pre 09 though.
i replaced bars with some moose racing chepos that are close to stock and didnt see any cable slack at all.
let us know..

I also did a moose bar with a 1" Riser and had no trouble with fit, changing it also made installing my moose bark busters much easier as well. Stock was a disaster trying to install them because of the little cross bar and locations of bends and such.
I just now finished MY hi bend bar installation and yes,,, barely fits is a good answer.
Play with the clutch until it's right. I can turn lock to lock and not have the clutch arm move. It does get tension but doesn't move. Well,,,,, maybe a smidge,,
Hopefully you bought grips because you will need to cut the stock ones off. AND,, gasgacinch is a great grip glue!!!!!

CR high bend and there is BARELY enough room. There is a tension with the bars turned to the left. It moves the clutch arm a smidge. I tried to find slack and there isn't any so I will live with it for a while. If there are problems I will change the cable.
one question i get a lot is where i got the longer clutch cable, and that motion pro. they have a part on there site for custom cables and once you open it, its really simple to order. also, ive found the best grip glue is a good strong hair spray, like the stuff you used in the 80s (man i wish i could have live threw that era). gasgacinch probally works wonders also. i now use wire to hold the grips also and get a lot more use out of them now.
I should have mentioned, my bike is an 07, so apparently my ease and slack with a small riser wont apply to you. One other nice thing about the moose bars, was that they are slightly narrower than stock too, a little bonus in the local tight trails. Now I'm about an inch less likely to need my bark busters
Thanks for the tip! My grips are getting worn, and they're all twisted up on the bars. I need to look up the wire method too for the next set.
