Default high altitude jetting...

Hello guys and gals. I've been away from the site for way to long! I hope everyone is doing well. Did I miss anything exciting!?
I spent the summer moving from TN to CO and went three months without a job. I finally got back to work and things are starting to get better.....
So, my question is about high altitude jetting. I went from 700ft to 7500ft. I need to rejet, anyone out here in CO have any tips or advice?
To recap about my scoot... I have a 331 BB, with header and 2bros exhaust and stock carb with dynojet kit.
any ideas would be helpful, thanks

Where are you at in Co? At 7500ft you must be west of the front range.
I get out around Estes Park every other year or so, and have had the KLX out with me the last two times First time was after a pipe and re-jet. I tried different jets , but ended up running the same jets I had for here in IL, but took the airbox lid off. Ran OK, but not great at full throttle. This last summer the KLX had the BB351 on and it ran without an issue at all with no tinkering from what was working here in IL >>>. Current stats. 2007 KLX, 351cc FMF Q4, N1tc needle clip on 2nd notch, #40 pilot, #135 main, idle jet 2.5 turns out, slide drilled, snorkel removed, No-toil hi-flo filter.
Is yours running badly now?
I'll be back in 2012 if your close we should plan a ride.
Dan

If you are anywhere near Woodland Park, CO, stop by Dirt Cheap Off-Road. These guys know how to jet a bike for high altitude.

I live at 7000 ft and am using a 125 main and #35 pilot. Stock needle shimmed with a 1.3 mm washer. Freer flowing exhaust, airbox mods, etc. Still a 250, no big bore kit. Runs good.
