FMF powercore4 slip on exhaust was my first mod and to date the best. 15 minutes and your done. Don't touch the airbox unless you rejet so that mod is more involved. I also have the fmf powerbomb header but have never done the cam mod and I'm happy with my results as it's not the the same underpowered bike I rode home on my first ride.

You don't need to rejet if you do just the slip-on. Anything else, yes. Welcome to the boards.

What he said....minus the "break it in carefully" If its new break it in this way.

Break it in, carefully following that procedure in the link. When I said "carefully" , I meant with care and a plan as opposed to "***** nilly".....lol

interesting article. i kinda run my toy stuff pretty hard. i take really good care of everything maintenence wise.when i broke in the 451 in my charger i did alot of engine breaking. it seemed to work really well. i would put get up to second or third them rev it up pretty good but nothing crazy then just let the motor slow her down. the motor pulls really hard and its been running great. once winter finally goes away i can wake it up again.

bike season is getting close here im gonna call around and get some prices.

Oemcycle.com has great prices. My friend just ordered FMF powerbomb, FMF Q4, Dynojet kit and K&N filter for $523 shipped.
