I've 2 questions.

1) Are the fork mount screws set to a specific torque?

I'm interested in mounting a windshield and I was thinking the most ideal location would be to use the fork mounts as an anchor point. I don't want to mount to the handlebar or the top/triple clamp.

2) I'm planning on using 1/8" steel. Will I need to buy bolts that are an 1/8" longer?
