Default Help lowering front

Installed lowering links and bar risers today and attempted to raise the forks in the triple trees, but they don't seem to want to move? What am I missing? Loosened the three bolts in the clamps on each side and pried the gap open a little to try to get them to slide but no go. Figured I would ask the experts befor I screw something up. Help!!

What year is the bike? On my 2010, there are only 2 bolts on each side, and once loosened, the forks easily slid up.

Do both forks at the same time. Probably binding up. I've seen the tubes and clamps get kind of frozen together from corrosion from water or dirt might be binding them up. Use a rubber mallet.

I used my moto jack...put a towel between the fork and bars...lowered the jack...pop!...became unstuck...

If both side are loosen and it's not moving, try removing the front wheel.
Maybe you tee moved, you coud also try loosening the upper tee.

Upper and lower clamp bolts are loose but I think that the clamp is just stuck to the fork tube. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing before I got more agressive to make it move. I will put a little pressure between the handlebar and the top of the fork tube tonight and get it broken loose, then it should slide down...I hope. Thanks all! BTW, it is an '07 that is new to me.
