Default front end lowering on 2005 zx-6r 636

i put the bad boys lowering link in back and now wondering best way to lower front end just little. i have read not to use straps and i have read its ok to use straps. is there a better way than another? thanks

If you want to lower it about an inch and a half to two inches...take a nail and stick it in the middle of the treads [sm=goodidea.gif]

why have you heard its not good to lower it with a strap?

there is a spacer for the top of the forks.

riding on the road with the straps is not good.. one is that you are taking suspention travel out of it... and when you turn the straps have to turn to on the frame witch makes it a little harded to turn.
the best way is to let the forks up through the clamps.. you can lower it about 2' and still have all the suspention travel.

i have mine lowered now with the forks slid up, and if you do decide to do it that way, TIGHTEN the front forks where they dont travel down as far. i have mine tightened up and my nose will still hit my front fender sometime if i come down hard off a wheelie....
