When I commute on the KLX, I always carry my helmet into the office. Otherwise, I get all kinds of strange looks given that every other inch of my body is covered in protective gear (my Aerostich Roadcrafter during the cool months, my JR Phoenix gear in the summer). The RC in particular gets a lot of comments if I don't have my helmet with me. In fact, when I have the RC on and the Gerbing gear underneath in the winter, I feel like this when I walk out to the bike:

 

I've never used the helmet lock because #1- I don't trust anyone..people argue that if someone were to cut the strap then the helmet wouldn't be any good..I say that it doesn't matter to some kid who does it just to be an a-hole..I would rather be safe than sorry. #2-It is a great conversation piece. It definitely get's female attention(although It doesn't matter to me cause I already have a girlfriend..BUT if I didn't[8D]) Glad to hear that I'm not the only one who carries my helmet in everywhere I go..

 

I feel another extra-planetary adventure coming on. Sdunne went to Mars last time ... who wants to go to Titan?

Gee sometimes can't even find the bloody keyhole on my zx6r too much happening at the local spots to slow me down with a helmet lock. I carry it in with me everywhere, in fact now there are hostesses waiting to relieve of my gear when I come. Real royalty treatment here in Sunny Barbados.
