Thanks Dan, i went with the Drift HD 170 ,i went to the store and checked out all the cameras,got a first hand look and feel for all of them,they all look well built and compact although the Oregon Scientific is a little heavy and they said some had come back with problems.

Thasts the HD 960, not quite as high res as the full blown HD 1080
I think the 1080 is about $100 more.
