Well sackless compared to my new 1300, but for what is is, I always thought it was great! Then I threw on a 13 tooth and piped and jetted, and for me thats all I will ever do. Its perfect for what I use it for. Oh and welcome to the forums.

That's what I figured about the reviews. Most people have had faster bikes, where as me, I've always had fast cars. I had an 86' dodge omni glh that ran a 12.01 @ 122 mph....I liked racing people on 600cc rockets from a 30mph roll......it was prettttyyy embarssing. Not quite as fun as my turbo caravan that ran 14's though.

Here's my plan for the klx from what I've read. Stage 2 dyno jet for the klx300, fsw header and can, kouba (sp) fuel screw, no airbox lid and cut out the screen...

I spoke to Jerry (I think) at fourstrokeworks. Im going to go with his full exhaust and his jet kit, he was very helpful. He recommend the kawasaki jets
. Are jets all the same, or do their shapes factors in fuel delivery?

I think you may be missing out on the best needle around if you don't go with the Dynojet kit. The OEM needle is not good...period.

Hey Ray welcome.. TURBO CARAVAN! WOW Id like to see that.

You should get a dynojet kit, full exhaust (I like FMF Q4 and Megabomb), twin air filter, KDX200 airbox snorkle. That will give you a new bike practically.

If you want "full wood" then after the above mods, get a 351 kit from B&B cycle restoration. Your bike's horsepower will go from 17 HP to 27 HP if you do all of the above. Give or take a pony.. Im new at this too and I listened to the guru's on here like TNC and others..

And BTW, if you take care of your bike you wont need the warranty anyway. They are built well and are reliable.

Welcome to the forum.

$600 van w/$800 in mods. Ok.....so the shape is important so ill order the klx300 stage 2 kit.

And yes.....I did epoxy V6 decals on it to mess with people. I love sleepers.

EVERYBODY loves a minivan that runs 14.8's at 92mph. Expecialy when you put cookie monster and sponge bob window shades in it and take it to the drag strip. Its long gone now though I miss it.
