I have the SilverStars in the Ranger and Blazer. They do make a world of difference at night when lighting the road. Maybe I should buy one for the KLX.

Just get some new H4 Bulbs. Hella do some that are 100/80 Watt.
See HERE.
Other manufacturers do 130/55 watt. They are F@#kin' bright and you will notice the difference.
The KLX 250H7 and earlier has 1 up on the new 09 model. You can upgrade the bulbs to offroad spec as the headlight lens is glass. That's a big no no with the new plastic lenses, like the 09 has.
Seriously, get a 130/55 H4 (rice burner blue/white if you like?) and go burn some retinas.

If money is no object, see HERE.

Yea well I went to the auto parts store last year and said I wanted a brighter lamp for the truck, they sold me some, and I couldn't tell the difference. So now I have a spare set of crap lamps. Thanks for nothing Carquest!!![:@][:@][:@] I want some of those lights that the punks in the rice burner--big muffler cars have that make me want to pull them out and put the beat down on...........oh sorry, I just want brighter lights.....is that too much to ask?[8D]

From the first page of the linked ADV thread referencing their 3600 Lumen bulb (3800 Lumen would be a little more):
Lower power draw, on high these are pulling 30 watts on low 20 watts.

The pics posted at ADV show the pattern which for the LOW beam would better flipped horizontally to lessen what spills to oncoming drivers. It would be great as is for the UK and other countries that drive on the other side of road.

How do you tell there is more light? More than stock?

I do not know if there is room. I thought I saw that RockabillMatt tried the cyclops bulb...

Will look this weekend to see.

If I rode at all in the dark (I don't) I'd probably get one of these.
