Hey, I want to get a "WHITE" headlight bulb for my KLX Headlight.. I dont want to spend too much on the bulb but, I also want a real white bulb not the original yellowish halogen bulb.. Could some one of you guys please search for a perfect bulb for me on eBay and give me the link? As I'm not too sure with the specs and stuff..

Also, I'm playing around with the idea of changing my original headlight to a Acerbis Cyclops or Acerbis DHH headlight...
I sometimesI think it looks mean andlike it and the next minute I'm thinking its too bulky...

What do you guys think I should do?

I love black KLX's!!! I don't know, with that goofy looking plate above the headlight why worry about the yellow bulb!

 

What part of the world are you from? Some lights legal in one place aren't in another. PIAA bulbs seem to be a good recomendation but, I haven't tried one personally.

 

yup...PIAA is goot. Go to ebay and search for PIAA H4...should be no problem. With the klx stator you can go up to 100 watt draw.

 

piaa not goot. looks whiter and brighter, but alas, actually worse to see with. I had a bmw bike and tried all kins of bulbs, including piaa. I prefered the much cheaper osram.

sorry, I wont buy anything with the names extreme, bomb, 'tini' as in (martini), awesome, turbo, or 'go green'/ recycle /eco ect.

 

Klx250S_Rider: Lol dude, thats actually the License plate I ran with for some time ... In Sri Lanka you gotta have a License Plate on the front too!

Sid Post: I'm from Sri Lanka, basically themotor vehiclelaws are very minor here so, any bulb will do.. They dont find fault lol..

Finger Mullet: I first got the idea from the PIAA Super Plasma GTX bulb which is $49! I thought its a little too much!

Ok, I just bought a bulb locally.. Its an Osram and I fitted it to test but it wasnt white enough.. Its actually yellowish.. I sent it to be exchanged.. Its a 4K Bulb, I wanna exchange it for a 6 or 8K bulb.. Will keep you guys updated tommorow

 

I think you will find that as you move more toward a 'white' color, just a bint of bluewill be there as well. That has been my experience anyway.
