Just curious. Has anyone done any head porting without going to the big bore kit? If so who do you recommend?

 

I did! I did the porting myself then had a friend back cut the valves and install new seats. I not going to dyno it but with jetting did seem to wake it up on top end. I still have the stock exhaust. New cuts on the valve and some seat work is where I think the real power came from. I reshaped around the valve guides but thats not going to show that big of improvement. I will go to the bigger jug but really didn't want to now due to the stock exhaust. I Like the silent exhaust note. Been there done that with loud pipes.

 

Did you do a multiangle valve job ? How did the bowl area look, was there much for casting flash etc?
