Sweet, I thought mine said it had an aluminum frame but that sucker feels like its made of lead.

would like to see someone riding in the warmer climates is all. don't get me wrong though i do enjoy your snow adventures.

You mean there's places where its still warm? Last I heard it was "cold" even in the AZ desert, unless cold is a relative term....

IMO you cant go wrong with any hardtail trek out there... mine was a bit pricy, but my wifes bike we bought last year is great, but its not a "mtn bike" its a hybrid, still a great bike, if you go from a walmart bike to a trek, you will notice a huge difference in quality and just how it rides... now im sure other good brand of bikes are great too, but i love my trek, Look at them online and see what ya like, and what ya can afford, then go look in person. Let me know what ya get.
