I'd say that might be a reasonable starting point to give yourself some haggling room. But if I were buying, I'd say that'd be a little high, so I'd want to negotiate it down.
Kelly Blue book suggests $3660 retail value assumes excellent condition. So you'd need to factor in mileage, any aftermarket parts you might have on that might affect the value, etc. Trade-in says $2500 and is what you might expect if trading it in on another bike or something.

Yeah i would say that is a little high for that many miles on a bike. I was thinking more around the 2000-2500 range but you could start at 4000. and see where you get. good luck with the seling.

Ebay has messed up used car and vehicle prices something terrible... people think they can get alot more for what they have because one like thiers went for that on ebay.... wrong....

... I would really like to have a Wr250f. I want a stock bike with more power, better suspension and not the dual sport clutter for something I hope to race (Hare Scrambles) and when I ride hard on my track
The KLX was a great bike for what I bought it for almost a year ago, but I think my needs have changed. I don't want to beat my KLX over the head to get it to do what the WR was made to do.
