Glad to hear you had a good ride.

I had anenjoyable ride on Saturday that covered about 100 miles. Went up a sectionof eastern coastline in northern Japan. Most awesome scenery andjust the medicineneeded afterbeing hemmed-in all winter long.

I was wondering how theall the mod's -pumper carb included- affected my gas mileage, so I made more frequent gas stops to be on the safe side. From what I calculated, the MPG is as good if not better than stock. Must be a testament to that new-fangled carb needle.[8D]

Sure was nice toget out and log the first decent ride of the season.3weeks are up, Clarke! Oh where, oh where could that tank be?

Hey Truckman, in just moved to NEPA from Oregon. I've been trying to find an area to ride and it looks like you've found a good one. It seems like there are "don't go here" signs everywhere. Is this near the Delaware Water Gap?

Truckman, Where are you at on the Delware. I am not far from it myself. Pretty close to Delware Water Gap. We should get together for a ride.

I'm below easton ...actually The pics are from a few miles south of rt. 611 and the rt. 32 (river road) intersection. You could prolly ride all day on some of these backroads. It's pretty neat as there is alot of blacktop to dirt/stone and back again and quite a few creek crossings too. It'd be nice to ride awith a few others sometime...I've been pretty much going solo for the past 2 months since i got the bike...none of my wussy buddys want to run their triumphs and harley's in the dirt or even cross creeks with them.....

Sounds great, do you think its legal? See any signs, any hassle from the PA POPO?

It's 100% legal. They are listed as legitimate roads with street signs. There are not miles and miles of dirt but the bunch that there is are short but fun.The roads in between all of them are reall fun too.Usually just wide enough for a car and a bike and really twisty so it makes it fun. There is also alot of nice scenery so it make it worthwhile. Most of them are on my citynav program for my gps but they are dashed lines listing them as unimproved roads.
