Great GPS Mount for Motorcycle
I bought a great mount for an inexpensive Nuvi GPS that has worked absolutely awesome. And it's only $11 at amazon.com.
I have used this mount on several occassions, mounted on my left handlebar, and it has performed flawlessly. Does not budge over bumps or at high speed.
The only trick is that the handlebar is pretty slick, so I put a layer of duct tape underneath where I put the mount to give the rubber on the mount a more tacky surface. Then, pull the mount really snug. I learned this trick from years of mountain biking.
Regardless, with the $94 Nuvi 255 and this mount, I have taken the bike on several 200+ mile rides to northern Michigan without incident. It sure is a whole lot cheaper than the $700 "motorcycle-specific" GPS devices they are trying to sell you. The only downfall--not waterproof.
