OK, this is killing me so i had to go to the garage and look.
Forget the banjo bolt it is no where near the plug hole and can not even spray oil in that direction. Did you remove the plug? the plug goes WAY down past what you can see with the plug wire on. You HAVE to remove the plug to clean ANY oil out of the "WELL" that the plug goes down into. If you havent done that yet, you need to before we go any further.
Do that, clean everything out, and then start the bike. let me know what you find then.
There is a rubber gasket on the bottom of the plug wire that will seal off the plug "WELL" and i suspect you haven't cleaned it all out.

Did you do this job or did someone help you? Did you torque the head/cylinder bolts with a torque wrench?
My friend was helping me out. We didn't use a torque wrench because we didn't have the necessary hex bolts for the torque wrench. I went out tonight and bought a 8mm hex bolt so I'll get that straightened out tomorrow. He has rebuilt a lot of motors so he tightened them by feel but I don't think that is causing my oil leak problem.

As far as the oil line goes, he took that off so I'm sure he made sure to keep the washers in place(assuming they are on all motors).

Gary, I appreciate your willingness to help me figure this out . It's currently 11:22 PM here and I don't think the Miss would appreciate me going out and working on my bike right now. I'll this a try tomorrow and see what I find. If you don't mind, PM me your phone number and I'll give you a call when I get that plug well cleaned up.

I think you have a big uncertainty here with the head not properly torqued. I don't want to criticize your friends skills, but this factor is so critical that I would not try to run the engine in this condition.

I agree that this is not the cause of the oil leak problem though.

YES!!!! you need to torque the head to proper specs FIRST 11 ft lbs, then 34 ft lbs, and in the proper sequence!!!

Yah - always torque head bolts and other internal bolts.. Not worth it to do a hack job when you're that deep into the motor!!

Nobody who has experience rebuilding motors would ever do it without a torque wrench, and nobody has a calibrated torque arm!
