Angry It is going to be 60F and I cant ride ARRGH

2 week ago I had a little surgery which was supposed to be outpatient. I had it done on a thursday so I would only miss 2 days work and by monday I would be good to go!!

10 days after my surgery it gets infected, long story short, the Dr took me out of work for a week longer. Today it is going to be 60F+.

Let me fill you in that it is also going to be only the 3rd day since November last year that it has been above 35!! It has been single digits and colder since December.

Today would be a perfect day to ride and test my 300cc upgrade.. Damn it!! I am stuck on the couch looking outside at what could have been!!

Now here is funny stuff!....

It made it up to 58 today. almost all of the snow melted, tommorrow we have a winter storm warning in effect from 6am to 6pm. High winds and heavy accumalations!!!

Unbelievable... I think the only place that I know of where the weather can change so drastically in less than 12 hours other than good ole Buffalo NY, is New England...

Some crazy stuff...

Last week we set record lows. Several days were in the negatives.. Wind chills were over -20F. It was so cold the one day that hit the window juice and it froze on contact with my windshield. We use stuff that has something like antifreeze in it for window cleaning so it does not freeze. I forgot my gloves that day and walking out to my truck was painfull on the hands.

It is pouring rain right now!

Yes, the good riding weather is coming. Unfortunely for me, that also includes hail stones, high winds, and tornados. We had one Tuesday (2-10-09) that tore through north of OKC and Edmond. Bad weather is really starting early. Usually we don't have to duck for cover until April or May.

Ask Al Gore why. He'll explain it all and who's to blame.
