Had to open her up again (at least the top end) and reset the cam chain... Not a big job just time consuming to do it right....

He was referring to the cam timing. Initially he got it off then corrected it later on.

So I got the bike running better tonight by pulling the needle up one notch to #4. The new needle and jet should help out when it arrives.

How do you adjust the accelerator pump on this carb? I see the small screw on the linkage that adjusts when the tab hits the pump shaft. Different positions wasnt that noticeable. I can't test the bike outside yet because of the -10 temps outside so Im doing this buy cracking the throttle in the garage.

So I see how th AP is adjusted, just had to read the info given. Can someone give an example of theirAP settings?

I'll have to dig into my notes, but I believe I set mine to pump almost immediately .... Can't remember end point off the top of my head...

I'll try and find it

Ugh -10..... We are hovering around 0 here.... Just a **** tease lol...


#4 helped mine quite a bit too..l
