finally warm but raining now, so some garage time available

i cant live without a rear rack, so i ordered the rear and sides from PM.
good bang for the $, easy install, he threw in some rok-straps as well.

repurposed a bicycle bag for the rear, perfect size for everyday use.
actually pretty nice, expands up, and small fold down side panniers.
semi-insulated, so... great for some ice and oat sodas !!!

painted scuffed to he!! shifter and added padding with handlebar tape.
actually better feel, and doesnt scuff my nicer street boots
painting the kickstand and TU of some of the frame scuffs if time allows

some new PT pillow-top grips, and right mirror deleted and plugged
hairspray on the gas, WD-40 seems to keep the clutch side just fine
will be adding some alum guards in the very near future

$1 of pipe insulation will make about 6 HB pads, wrap with handlebar tape
some leftover HI-VIZ tape added to some key areas both front and rear


i cant stop thinking about a set of more-tard wheels !!!
whadda am i looking at? probably about a grand?

 

almost forgot, this is the XL rear rack from PM, a slightly bigger footprint
and made from heavier tubing than the regular sized rear.
i dont see any reason to the get the small, unless weight was the 1st goal

LED flasher from the bicycle attaches to strap on the bag for night or hwy
some red HI-VIZ tape added to sides near the tailight
seems im all about the HI-VIZ as i get wiser (or maybe just older )

 

Bike looks good, those are nice racks.
