Sirs or Mams, I am new to riding and am inquisitive on what some of the necessities are when biking. As I have stated in other parts of this forum, I will be riding on the interstate alot and riding the twisties here in the lovely mountains of my home, East Tennessee. I am going to be buying my first bike, a brand new Ninja 250, 2007 model. I cannot wait. Just having to wait for the Army stipend to come in and then I am going to the shop. So, I want to make sure that I get all the basic necessities for riding. I have alotted $850 for a jacket, helmet, and pants. I am going to get a tank bag as well, to carry my wallet, Glock, keys, knife, map, insurance, etc, in. I was wondering if there are any other basic necessities I needed to remember to get. Thanks in advance.

5 if your bugging, a spare master link

Baby wipes work good on visor cleaning, not perfect but gets the job done.

You need a handgun incase you get on the wrong side of a hells angel.

 

I keep a tool kit flat repair kit. Co2's to reinflate flat tires zip ties first aid kit flash light. I keep it all in my back pack. I have my backpack on 95% of the time I ride.
