Gained some weight
Just went from this:

To this:

I'm gonna miss the old girl, but I'm only allowed to register one bike under the military's overseas rules. The new 'fat broad' is just what the doctor ordered though. It's a "jack of all trades, master of none" this bike (Yamaha Super Tenere, XT1200Z) is really growing on me. It's smooth, comfortable fast and very nimble for its size and weight. Kinda hurt the pocket book, but I'll get over that part. The suspension is surprisingly rugged and works well off-road. I won't be taking it on any single track anytime soon though
My wife has been mentioning that she might want to go along on some of my rides, so I made sure it had good pillion comfort.
Well, anyway just thought I'd check-in. KLX (d-tracker) was still going strong at over 35,000 miles when I traded it in. All I ever did was change oil, filters, chain sprockets and rubber
Wish I could have kept her as she still did things the bigger bike would have trouble with and was still a hoot to ride.

Let me clarify that's X1200Z Super Tenere. The XT660Z is still not available to statesiders
Yeah, I put a lot of time and money into getting the Tracker just right for me. I hated to let it go. Couldn't do the pillion thang with my wife for any distance to speak of. I barely feel her on there with the Tenere.
