you can usually get real close; the only real way to get it perfect would be to hook a laptop up and map it yourself- everyones conditions are slightly different.

i hope your good with computers and math
this is aems for cars, it would be something close i would think. this is why tuners get payed so much, that and the dyno access.

Oh ok. I was wondering because both my dad's bikes are EFI and i was wondering how to ever tune em.. Hehe.. It programs it self according to the elevation and temperature right?

because they are ridden as commuter bikes as well and the steel toothed ones tear up your shoes. I'm sure you can take those off.

Well, kinda sorta. It doesn't 'program' itself. It make automatic adjustments according to a program already in the ECU.

It senses is Air Inlet Temp, Engine Water Temp, O2 and throttle position and makes limited adjustments according to the ECU curve. However, the range of each adjustment is limited by what's programmed into the ECU. That's why when you open the airbox and put an aftermarket pipe on a WR you gain about 1.5 - 2hp...but when you combine that same mod with a Power Commander theres is almost a 5hp increase.
