Default Fuel tank alignment

Hello,

For a few weeks i have been facing to problem with propper fuel tank installation on my Kawasaki KLX 250 2012.
I have got 2012 original Service manual, but there is no word about it.

The problem is that if I put fuel tank on the bike, make it balanced, and screw the bolts. The gap between fuel tank and the bike on the right side is little bigger than the gap on the left side.

Also when I rotate the steering full right and full left the gap is different.
I don't know what am I doing wrong

Have anyone of you the propper step by step instuction for instalation and proper equilibrum of the fuel tank?

It's making me crazy, I don't now how it looked like when it was new.

Did anyone of you faced the same problem, or just have idea how to solve it?
I appreciate every thoughts

Thanks
Sponge

Sponge, I'd take the plastics off and unbolt the tank. See if it's resting on a tube or wire. It should seat pretty easy.
