Default Fuel Line Locations

I own a 2007 Kawasaki 250KLX and recently removed the two fuel lines extending from the gas tank to the petcock. Now I am uncertain which line goes where on the gas tank. Question: Looking at the petcock from the left-hand side of the bike, can someone tell me which gas tank nozzle (forward or rear) connects to the petcock nozzle that points towards the front of the bike?

Did you get this figured out yet? I can check after work to night and post up if needed!

God Bless,
TC

I'm not following your description. Can you get us a pic or drawing?

I recall my 2006 petcock having one outlet port that went to the carb inlet. The tank also had a vent line or two.

The front one goes to the front connection @ tank, and the rear goes to the rear.

Thank you very much; I appreciate your help. That is how the parts schematic shows it. I questioned it because that port is labeled as the Reserve Port but it actually sits higher on the gas tank than the the On Port. I thought the Reserve Port should be at the lowest point on the gas tank. Oh well, what do I know anyway.
