Default front brake line

I recently added some MSR hand guards, and the front brake line seems to be rubbing on it when the suspension travels up and down. It looks like it is starting to wear a little bit, and I'm concerned about it rupturing. There is a gap about 1/2 inch from the plastic tube that goes down the forks, and the outer cover that protects the line up by the handelbars. I tried to slide the cover down to eliminate that gap, but it doesn't seem to move. Has anyone else had this issue, is there an easy fix. I have put some electrical tape on it for now, but that will soon wear throuhg too.

I have the same problem, have not found a good solution, I put some of the corrugated tube stuff you use to bundle wiring together over the brake line, kind of works.

I had the same problem. Bought a Galfer SS brake line and bent the round plastic thing(sorry, dont know what its called)that routes the brake line behind the headlight shroud. I also routed the line in front of the clutch cable. It now rubs the corrigated part of the turn signal but has not shown any signs of wear. Hope that helps. (Still dont know how to post pics or i could show you)
