Does it just replace the rubber line, or is it replacing the hard line in the front and bottom of the fork and running up the top?

it replaces the entire line. unbolt the top unbolt the bottom and remove the stock line. we bolted up the bottom filled the line until there was fluid coming out the top banjo bolt then bolted the top banjo on and bled the line until there was no air in the resevoir. it took a while to figure this out but once we did it went smoothly.

here they are.

Hmmm, there seems to be one thing missing from this writeup....

HOW did you end up bleeding the line? What was the procedure? Do you recommend this for the novice home garage mechanic?

Any details you can share would be great.

Thanks!!!

If you search the Internet there a quite a few different tricks for brake bleeding. I struggled with mine as well. What has worked for mewith a new line is to push the fluid up from the bottom with a large syringe until everything is full. Then do the normal break bleed method. I use one of those short hoses with a check valve in the middle.A $50.00 hand vacuum pump looks like it would make the job real easy.
