Add rim locks on the pavement and you have one squirrely paint shaker....

A funny thing about freeway wiggle I noticed.. it is worse with the 606's less with the 605's.. if you simply LET GO of the handlebars while it is happening, it stops.. try it.. while going 70'ish gps, loosen your grip completely.. the wobble goes away.. why is this?

Not if you finish the job by installing wheel weights oppopsite the rim-loks.

Or by installing two rim locks on opposite sides.

I would like to get more power so i can gear up and get down in the 7500 range at 80mph...if it will hold it. I will try a pumper carb first.

Also certain brands of tires mark where the light spot of the tire is. Letting you know where to line up the tire with the rim lock. Pirellis for instance.

Yup, listen to Highbeam. Time for you to balance those wheels.

I'm running full knobbies (Kenda Trakmaster) and I get no wiggles or wobbles at any speed. I've would have been agreeing with you up until the day I fixed the steering head bearings. That's what cured the wobbles for me.

Glad it works for you.
