I wash my bike more than anyone on here (yea I'm sick that way) and I have never got water in there. Plus there is a drain hole anyway.

If you still got that little plastic bottle under the bike, throw it away, its gonna get broke anyway. You want water to get out if it does get in there.

Get a used KLX-300 header and muffler for ~$90USD. Add ~$30USD in carb parts, throw the airbox lid away and enjoy. You will get a lot of performance for ~$120USD and some of your time to swap the parts.

 

Where can I buy a KLX300 Header online? My bike already has a RSV Slip On pipe so I wouldnt need a muffler.. Also, where can I find Jet kit for the KLX online? Theres a place where they sell the complete jet kit for the KLX300.. Would this work? It costs $71.. Worth It?

i do think the stock air filter had 10 w oil in it.... i dont know why they did that... but id clean it and use air filter oil... its ALOT different....
