Default Fork Stabilizer

Hey guys, well me being the cheap guy that I am, I decided to make my own Fork Stabilizer. Here it is, I made it our of Old growth Clear Vertical Grain Douglas Fir. It works great.

Is that for when you tie her down you do not have to compress the forks too far?

Yes. It keeps the springs from being compressed and also keeps the bike from moving when you hit bumps or turn corners, because no matter how tight you get the bike, without a fork stabilizer it can always move. I have been told that it's not good to compress the shocks for an extended amount of time. There are all kinds of brands out there but I like mine because it was free. Just an hour of my time.
