Default Fork spring oil

I just purchased upgraded fork springs and rear from Cogent. I wasn't even thinking, what weight oil do I use and how much when I replace it? I'm new to all of this.

Stick with the 5wt. Most any good quality brand will do. Some like to play with different weights, but the KLX doesn't provide much latitude without doing an aftermarket valve change and there's no rebound adjustment on our forks.

You mean Compression. Both rebound and compression are "damping".
