Default Fork end cap

I'm changing my springs and oil out on my 2012. I've been searching for the size of the end cap so I know what size of socket or wrench to get. I think it's 30mm in size but only found one reference. I wanted to double check.

Thanks

Can you get a tape measure across it. Then convert the inches to millimeters. 30s my guess too

I got seals coming from my 2012 also. Did you get the seal driver tool? On old style forks I just used to use the old seal as a driver after taking off the rubber on the OD. Can't really do it with this style unless I cut it in half.

Keep the updates coming will help me out

Default Update

Done. Went easy. No fork changing tool. Just a wrench and basic drivers to do it all. Watch the video on the guy that uses a piece of string to pull his spring up

Just make sure you're using a metric adjustable wrench...

And don't forget to loosen the pinch bolts in the upper triple clamp.

Ride on
