Hey experts: does anyone know if there is a fitment difference between the 2006/2007 and 2009+ HMF Q4 slipon muffler?

I believe the answer is no. At least I bought one from a guy who said it was for his 09 and I had no issues installing the slip on or the megabomb header on my 06.

they are the same. The q4 was designed for the 06-07's, but somewhat fits the 09's as well. A lit bracket bending and maybe a few extra washers is all that is needed.

Not so fast..FMF lists different part numbers for the Q4 06 vs 09. It may fit but may also explain some melted airboxes and signals.

Thanks for the replies. It's a "2009" model that I'd like to install on my 2006. I have washers and the blinker lights are already moved out of the way so hopefully I can get it and quiet it down some compared to the HMF slipon. And for someone who doesn't mind the noise, my used and recently re-packed HMF will be available at a good price.
