I see that on their website, FMF is now offering the Megabomb head pipe as well as the Powerbomb headpipe to fit the KLX250S...anyone running the Megabomb?

 

wow, thats kinda cool. took them long enough, now i want to see a dyno chart saying it makes more power.

 

"Megabomb"! That's awesome. I think I'm going to hold out for the Super-Ultrabomb!

 

I installed the Q4 with megabomb combo on my bike last month mate, only downside to this is not let anything hang around that pipe(melts pretty easy!).I'm totally satisfied, now only thing left to do is derestrict the little green devil!
I run the FI model so no jetting needed, bike transforms in an instant!(or something like that)

 

i was going to buy the powerbomb, but i'm now waiting to see if this one is worth the extra coin.

 

I called FMF to verify the information on their website. I asked the rep (sales) what the difference was between the Megabomb and the Powerbomb head pipes. He stated that the Megabomb was designed for more "low end power", the Powerbomb for "high end power".

 

i like low end power, sounds good to me

 

i was told today fmf over sold the megabomb header & they're on backorder for a couple weeks now.

 

I have the powerbomb/titanuim 4 combo on my DRZ. Even with the quiet core its way too loud for my tastes. The bike runs very strong though, the full FMF kit might be a good performance add on for the 351 kit. Hopefully not as loud though, loud pipes can be a riding area killer.
