dude, i cant stop laughing about that letter, it great. im having the same sort of time with rmatv. ordered a leatt brace (new adventure), and from what i hear they over sold the preorder and backordered some (me), and nowi have to wait from the 22 of dec, to the 30th of jan. BEFORE IT CAN SHIP. worst part is i learned this info on forums, not from the 3 letters i sent to rmatv. thank god it might be here soon, this is really pissing me off. i have always loved fmf, when i was 12 i got a sign fliping job got my blaster a muffler, cool as ****. when i moved up to my dads 400ex, had a full fmf system. saddly with all the bad reviews, i might just look elsewere. (funny side though, while i was typing this my leatt brace showed up lol)

 

Sorry to hear about your RMATV experiences. I've boughten tens of thousands of dollars of stuff over the years and have never had a problem with them. I've even boughten coats and after using them zippers have broke and they sent me new ones.

 

Wow sorry to hear of your bad experiences with the FMF products. I have had nothing bad to speak of with the purchases I have made in the past. The last being the powerbomb header for the 09klx250s from a member here. RMatv has been a good vendor for me also no problems to speak of.

Slots should have been made into the header end like the stock header. Does your mid pipe insert into the powerbomb expanded end all the way?

yep, BG is the best fitting pipe for the KLX hands down. The Muzzy is okay but needs tweaked a bit but still no melting of airbox here, just some grinding of rear peg.
I've been saying for years how crappily engineered FMF products are, good to see someone is finally coming forward to prove what I've always said. fmf powerjokes and everything else they make for the KLX is crap. The BG makes the most power and no one has ever complained of fitment or failure on the new BG exhaust systems. Oh yeah, the BG barks like a rottweiller. ;o)

 

My big gun didn't fit the greatest and burnt a hole in the air box.I didn't care as it was ditched anyway, and i made a new header as I didn't care for theirs.

I can't comment on anything but the FMF Q4 muffler. The fit and finish of the one I bought is flawless. Sorry to hear about the horrible customer service, thats not a good way to run a business.

BG fits perfect, Loud as hell, but I fixed that with a custum insert I made.

I was patiently waiting for the big-gun comments............ Sorry no offense guys it's just funny from a distance as the "exhaust wars" always got all of us heated up more than any other topic.
Sorry about the fitment issues, just dosen't make sense.........really sucks when you pay good money for parts and there junk..........
Iv'e got the HMF ( 2.5 years) and added a P-Bomb header early last summer. Everything fit up great with no issues, Maybe just lucky.
