Question a few questions about the Klx 300r...

first of all is there a different seat i can make fit this bike one that dosnt sink down in the middle as much like a bannana... and second it is more like advise i guess but would it help the bikes power if i take the head pipe off and take that restricticve weld out of it and smooth it out a bit more...? i have acess to machine shop tools...

If ya cant find anything by searching,,, then post what your asking here, in the KLX 250 section but state that you have a 300... Im sure someone there will be able to help you. theres alot of people with good knowledge about these bikes.. Me I own a klx250 but still a newb as far as far as most of the technical stuff.. and alot of the guys dont venture out of that section lol so ya gotta kinda throw it in there face lol But everyones cool

just an update for you guys that are wondering about removing that restriction from the head pipe in the exhaust...today i decided to take the deburring tool to it with the 22000 rmp air rotary tool and took the weld right out and beveled the edges out a bit to make the inlet bigger then i finished it off with a 400 grit sanding drum so the carbon wouldnt stick and man what a difference it really opened the bike up it revs out alot smoother and quicker... i already have the dynojet kit the airbox mod the crank casevent mod and the shift star mod. all that probobly worked along with that exhaust mod...unfortunatly i didnt have a camera handy to take reference pics but just so you guys know it does work... i dont know what itsl ike compaired to the fsw thogh it probobly isnt as good...
