Default A few pics from today

Did a little riding today with a buddy a few hours south of me at a place called OutbackATV. After not riding for almost a month, it sure felt good to get out.

This is the same KDX I rode a while back, fun bike for sure!

Ready to ride:

Me:

The KDX:

Don't get much better than this.

The new suspension worked fantastic. It is definitely a "the faster you go, the better it feels" setup. It felt real good at all speeds, but it especially performed well the faster you went and the rougher the terrain. I gave it a pretty good workout today, and I am very pleased with the work.

Great riding today! Can think of too many ways I'd rather spend a Saturday afternoon.

Are those ICON motorcyle shoes your friend is wearing? They look a lot like ones I have.

Not sure.

I got some pretty good helmet cam footage from today, it will take a little bit to cobble it together, but I got a nice clip of why radiator guards are important. My guards just paid for themselves today, otherwise I would be footing the bill for a new left radiator right now.

Nicely done, we're all jealous here waiting for the snow to melt.

It was chilly in the morning but warmed up. By the final loop late afternoon I took off two layers and just had a t-shirt and jersey under the roost guard. That was perfect - a little chilly for standing around, but perfect when you got into the woods. I think it was maybe mid 50s.
