The over riding impression was ..... clean, I enjoyed it and the free buses are excellent. I heard on the radio the other day Sydney is starting up the same type of service as your "cats"
Plenty to see and do I arrived Thursday 30th Oct, Friday I did a tour of Rottnest, Sat & Sun was the air race, Monday took it easy wandered around the city, Tue I went for a bus tour out to Wave Rock long day picked up at 7am dropped off at 9pm. Wed did the Perth mint and went to Freo, had a look at the maritime museum. Thu went back to Freo went go karting, prison and then back to Kings Park to watch the city light up as the sun went down. It had finally stopped raining long enough for me to see the city from Kings Park but it was windy and freezing bloody cold.
Friday I was up at 4am to catch the plane home I was exhausted!!! But had a great time. Next thing I'm off to Top Gear Live in February.

Finally got a decent pict of me and my bike...

(note: the shadow on my upper lip is due to 'movember' month... the one month males are allowed to grow the mo...)
